Serfaus decends from a highly decorated Hannoverian damline, which produced a lot of State-premium mares. Dam Danabella is a Hannoverian premiummare. Her sire Don Frederico was named Horse of the Year in 2012 by the Hannoverian society. The son of Donnerhall is ranked 11th on the WBFSH-ranking for proven sires. Famous Grand Prix-offspring are: Don Johnson FRH, Diavolessa VA, Dresscode Black, Don Amour MH and Denzel.
Serfaus sire Schwarzgold was the 2011 champion of the Trakehner stallionshow. His first crop was impressive with Perpignan Noir crowned champion of the approvals in 2015. Schwarzgold is approved by seven European studbooks and competed untill ZZ-level.
