After a very good foal report and high-ranked foals at the inspections, Next Romancier was selected two sons from his first crop for the second viewing at the KWPN Stallion Inspection. The black son of the top stallion Fürst Romancier clearly shows his hereditary strength.
Next Romancier received a particularly positive report from the KWPN jury during the offspring inspection. “A collection of well-developed foals with breed and appearance. The foals move with space, light-footedness and flexibility.” The foals scored at home were also very positive.
Next Romancier is starting to develop better under Robin Heiden and moves with a strong and active hind leg. He is also very interestingly bred with nice complementary dressage blood for Dutch dressage horse breeding.
Father Fürst Romancier and San Amour I are two well-known stallions in German breeding with many well-known horses such as the Fürst Romancier offspring Fasine, First Romance, For Romance I and II. San Amour I entered the Top 10 of the WBFSH-Sire Ranking in 2020 with the G.P. horses West Side Story, Santiano R, Sinclair Jason, Sandro D’amour, San Coco di Amore, Addict de Massa, Alquazar de massa, Sacura and Sun of May Life.
But not to forget Next Romancier Haizenzi’s mother; a beautiful black-brown National Elite mare of 1.68m that received a beautiful score of 90 points for conformation at the studbook inspection, and 85 points for movement, walk 85, trot 90, canter 80 and posture 85 points. This strong ‘Astrada’ mother stock provides a lot of exercise and sport. Breed and nobility must be able to pass on Next Romancier with such a mother and mother line with pure performance stallions.
Next Romancier is a more than sufficiently developed, appealing stallion with a lot of breed and appearance. It is more than sufficiently in the rectangular model. The head is expressive. The neck has more than sufficient length with a slight head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, length and muscling. The shoulder has good length and position. The withers are well developed and of good length. The back has more than sufficient length and good muscling. The loin is well muscled and well connected. The croup has good position, length and muscling. The trouser muscle has more than sufficient length. The foreleg is correctly positioned when viewed from the front and from the side. The hind leg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are slightly long. The foundation is well developed and of good quality. The feet are well developed, of good shape and quality. The heels are well developed.
Next Romancier is the first KWPN-approved son of Fürst Romancier, the Fürst-Heinrich son who was himself a premium stallion at Oldenburg. One of his most striking offspring is the Grand Prix stallion For Romance I, who is also very popular in breeding. Next Romancier’s mother is Haizenzi, an elite IBOP mare by the Oldenburg-approved San Amour I, who stood out at the inspection. For example, at her studbook registration, Haizenzi received no less than 90 points for her conformation and 85 points for her movement and she was eighth at the NMK. Grandmother Zenzi (by Don Primaire) is also an elite mare and, in combination with Lord Leatherdale, already produced the international Intermediair I horse Dior. The mother’s line continues via the preferred sire Ferro with Owistrada, who has already produced several sport horses. She serves as mother of the Small Tour horse El Capone (by Zhivago) and she produced the ZZ-Licht horses Chelsea (by Tuschinski) and Flügel (by United).
Next Romancier was approved by the KWPN in 2021. His report described him as an honest, rider-focused stallion with a very good attitude. The stallion is very willing to work and is very easy to train. The walk is pure, with good scope and suppleness. The trot is light-footed with good stride, has good scope and elegant use of the foreleg. The stallion gallops with good leg technique and carriage, the strength and impulsion are more than sufficient. Next Romancier has good to very good flexibility, posture and balance. Next Romancier has a lot of talent as a dressage horse and gives his rider a very good feeling.
