Lots of posture
Ziyech finished fourth under the saddle of Curro Benitez Sanchez with 82 points in the Pavo Cup pre-selection in De Mortel 2023. “The walk is nice through the body and good towards the hand. In the trot this horse stayed nicely uphill with a lot of spring, a lot of impulsion and a lot of self-carriage. He could sometimes have a little more neck length. The canter has a lot of power, impulsion and technique”, said the judges.
Premium stallion
Ziyech was declared a premium stallion at the DSP Stallionshow in 2021. A stallion with a super character, with a great attitude and who is golden. Ziyech is a very complete horse with a modern, correct model and three very good gaits. With a particularly active and strong hind leg, he is always uphill in motion, shows a lot of balance, flexibility and activity. His first foals seem promising, have a lot of charisma and have the modern dressagetype.
Ziyech has met the German performance requirements with good figures. The dark brown stallion earned his approval at the DSP inspection and was one of the five premium stallions. As a foal, Ziyech is registered at the Oldenburg Society.
Pedigree
Ziyech is the second approved son of Blue Hors Zackerey, one of the best sons of his great sire Blue Hors Zack. Zackerey was the revelation of the Oldenburg Stallionshow 2018 when he was named Hauptpremium-champion as best four year old stallion. Zackerey convinced with his talent in the performance-test and the bay will make his debut at Small Tour level shortly.
Dam Donna Argentina is out of the first crop of the famous WC-competitor Don Juan de Hus (Jazz x Krack C). Granddam Ally Mc Beal is by the well-known proven Oldenburg sire Argentinus. She is full-sibling of the renowned Grand Prix-mare Rafalca, ridden by Jan Ebeling (USA).
Ally Mc Beal also produced the premium-stallion Jeraldo (by Johnson), who is approved by Oldenburg and Westphalian, and competed at international level by the juniors with Paul Url. Great-granddam Ratine (Rubinstein I x Weltmeister) is dam of the approved stallion Sir Rubin (by Sir Donnerhall I), competing at Small Tour level.
