Premium stallion

Omar Sharif (Escamillo x Ferguson x De Niro) was one of the four premium stallions at the KWPN-stallion approvals 2022. We had a lot of confidence in Omar Sharif before the approvals began. The stallion committee shared our meaning by grading him. After acceptation by the KWPN the Oldenburg Society was enthusiastic about his talent and approved Omar Sharif.

Lightfooted

The KWPN stallion committee stated: “His sire Escamillo won the silver medal at the WC for Young Horses in Verden last summer at the age of six. He is combined with a daughter of Ferguson. This mare competes at Z2 level, showed her great talent in the performance test and is the full-sibling of Lightning Star, who won bronze at the WC in Verden in the five year old class. Granddam by De Niro and great-granddam by OO Seven both competed at Z2-level. Omar Sharif is an expressive colt with a lot of youth. In motion he shows lots of elasticity, a very good use of his body, is light-footed and shows power in all three gates.”

Pedigree

Dam Khloé Platinum is an elite-mare who passed her performance test with 81 points and is already placed at Z2 level at the age of six. She is the full-sibling of the mare Lightning Star, the runner-up in the Pavo Cup finals 2021 and winner of the bronze medal at the WC for Young Horses in Verden last year. Their dam Daily Enjoy competed like granddam Victorieu at Z2-level dressage. The sires OO Seven, Ramiro, Le Mexico, Cartoonist xx and Amor are in line on the interesting pedigree.

Sire Escamillo represented the Westphalian E-line of the Grand Prix-stallions Escolar, Estobar NRW and Ehrentusch. On the damside of Escamillo we find the proven-sires Rohdiamant and De Niro. Escamillo is bred out of the famous Oldenburg-damline of Cinderella and Condria.
