Retired from sport

Dream Boy said goodbye to active sport at the KWPN Stallion Inspection in which he achieved many great successes with Hans Peter Minderhoud. Dream Boy is now 16 years old and still fit and healthy. Now he can fully focus on breeding, in which he is also one of the very best. It is not without reason that Dream Boy leads the Horsetelex ranking of young sires. Eight descendants are already competing in the Grand Prix. GLOCK’s Dream Boy was awarded the keur predicate during the 2022 KWPN online stallion inspection.

Successful

2021 was a good year for GLOCK’s Dream Boy label. After the silver at the National Championships in Ermelo, the Olympic Games in Tokyo followed. There he achieved thirteenth place in the Grand Prix and twelfth place in the Grand Prix Special and in the Freestyle with Hans Peter Minderhoud. They then successfully participated in the European Championships in Hagen. Last year they took it easy. In December and spring of this year, Hans Peter and GLOCK’s Dream Boy achieved great results in the World Cup races in London, Amsterdam and Den Bosch.

Progeny

In 2020, his son Monte Carlo TC (ds.United) was honored as a premium stallion at the KWPN stallion inspection, sold to Blue Hors and became reserve champion in the KWPN autumn examination with 88 points. At the National Mare Inspection in Ermelo, daughter Magna Charta (ds.Sir Oldenburg) became champion of the three-year-old mares with her powerful appearance. From the same vintage, Dynamic Dream (ds. Sir Donnerhall I) moved to the stables of Andreas Helgstrand for a sum of € 1.9 million after the bay horse was declared champion of the Westphalian stallion selection. Ostara St-J (ds.Totilas) won the title of the three-year-old dressage mares at the National Mare Inspection in 2022.

23 sons of Dream Boy have now been approved by various studbooks. In Westphalia, his son Dark Dynamic (ds.De Niro) became champion at the 2023 stallion inspection.

Pedigree

GLOCK’s Dream Boy is the best-performing son of the preferent Vivaldi, who is setting up his own stallion line with already more than 60 approved sons and many grand- and great-grandsons. In the world rankings we find Vivaldi at the top of the rankings.

Elite performance mare Resia produced, in addition to GLOCK’s Dream Boy, the light tour horses Wanted (by San Remo) and Holland TC (by Charmeur). Her grandson Hummer (by Charmeur) competes in the Small Tour and took part in the European Young Riders Championships. Resia is a daughter of the Olympic dressage stallion Ferro. In addition to the champion stallion Kremlin MD (s.Governor), the mother line produced many successful dressage horses.
