Results

Va Bene has already achieved remarkable sporting successes. It started with an excellent 50-day test in Schlieckau with an overall average of 8.59. Va Bene won several young horse tests with grades up to 9.0. As a five-year-old, Va Bene qualified for the Bundeschampionat and thus qualified for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. In 2022 as a six-year-old Va Bene won a qualification for the Bundeschampionat with an 8.7. He competed at the World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo ridden by Johanna Wadenspanner.

Progeny

Va Bene passes on his qualities to his progeny. The foals are characterized by an outstanding trotting technique, with a lot of suppleness and balance. In addition, the foals have a lot of charisma and a good character. Buyers paid top prices for Va Bene’s foals at auctions. His foals achieved high placings at several foal championships. That makes Va Bene one of the most sought-after dressage stallions in Germany. Out of his first crop three sons are approved, two awarded with a premium.

Pedigree

Va Bene’s sire Veneno 6 (ds.Diamond Hit) was a finalist at the Bundeschampionat in 2015 and took part in the European Junior Championships in Hartpury in 2022 with Rose Oatley. Veneno 6 is a son of the Vivaldi-son Vitalis, who has become of the most successful sires in recent years. He is also the sire of world champion Vamos Amigos.

Va Bene’s dam Passion is a full sister to Preziosa, the Bundeschampionat champion of the four-year-old German riding horses in 2009.

Her sire Belissimo M was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2018. The Grand Prix stallion is one of the foundation stallions of German dressage breeding.

Grandsire Piaster from Stud Wadenspanner wrote Bavarian breeding history. He produced a number of approved sons and 30 horses with results at the highest levels in dressage and jumping. In 2002 Piaster became ‘Stallion of the Year’ in Bavaria.
