Lots of talent

His trot is light-footed. In movement, the stallion has a good posture and good balance. The gallop has good space and a lot of balance. R.Elfhaban van Beek jumps with a lot of overview, very well with the body upwards, with very good reflexes, a lot of body use and a sometimes slightly varying foreleg technique, whereby the jump behind is finished very well. R.Elfhaban van Beek seems careful and shows a lot of athletic ability. As a show jumping horse R.Elfhaban van Beek has a lot of talent and gives his rider a very good feeling.

Conformation

R.Elfhaban van Beek also received a good description for his conformation. R.Elfhaban van Beek is a well-developed, long-lined stallion with an appealing forehand. The neck has a lot of length and is well-shaped and muscled. The withers are well-developed with sufficient length. The back has a good length and is a fraction weak with good muscling. The loins are well-muscled but are tight. The croup has a good length, position, with a long buttock muscle. The foreleg is correctly positioned both from the front and from the side. The hind leg is correctly positioned and a fraction long. The pasterns behind are a bit long and weak.

Pedigree

R.Elfhaban van Beek is a son of Elfra van Beek Z who successfully jumps at 1.60m level with Gilles Thomas. His pedigree includes two top Holsteiner lineages. Through his sire El Salvador (Vigaro x Kojak) that is lineage 7126 from Burggraaf, among others. His dam Freza van Beek (Vagabond de la Pomme x Armitage) comes from lineage 18b1 from Farn and many top horses, among others.

Habanda van Beek (1.70m) is the dam of R.Elfhaban van Beek, the daughter of the Grand Prix stallion Hos d’O (Dollar de la Pierre-Quidam de Revel x world champion Cumano) is registered with the KWPN. Her dam Bawanda van Beek (by Sam R) jumped internationally at 1.45m level herself and has already produced several internationally performing offspring. Great-granddam Wanda van ’t Rozenhof (by Sunlight van de Zuuthoeve (Lux x Ramiro)) produced four international show jumping horses. Via the Dutch BWP-approved stallions Edgar (Jasper x Nimmerdor) and A Lucky One (Lucky Boy xx x Jurriaan) she comes from a mare by Flugel van la Roche. So a lot of sport in the mother line and the stallions in the lineage have also performed strongly in the sport or proven themselves as a good sire.
