At the end of 2020 we sold Jerveaux to Belgian junior rider Louise Brauwers for a future in sport. Since the age of three Jerveaux was ridden and trained by Bart Veeze, who will remain his rider for the coming period. Until Jerveaux moves to Louise he will be available for breeding at our stable.
In the spring of 2017 Jerveaux got approved by the KWPN after completing the performance-test. He showed great rideability and superb work-ethic and three outstanding, powerful gaits which got awarded with an 8,5. For his elasticity, self-carriage & balance Jerveaux received an 9. With a total of 87 points he was named champion of the test.
Jerveaux’s offspring are look-a-likes of their sire with their color, type and gaits. Out of his first crop Newton TC (d.Jillz TC by Dream Boy x Sir Sinclair) is selected for the second round viewing of the KWPN stallion inspection 2020/2021.
Jerveaux foals to the KWPN Stallion Commission
In 2018 Jerveaux showed his foals to the KWPN-dressagecommittee who concluded:
“Jerveaux showed a uniform group of well-developed foals. They stand more than sufficient in the rectangular type and several foals are long-legged. The neck is of good length, usually vertically placed and more than sufficient muscled in the topline. The shoulder is of good length and with good slope, Back and loins are well conformed and well connected. Th legs are lean and sometimes refined. Length of walk is good. In trot the foals are light-footed, show good rhythm with more than sufficient reach, and more than sufficient self-carriage and balans. In canter the foals showed good uphill tendency, with sufficient balance and more than sufficient elasticity.”
Jerveaux is like Governor bred out of a full-sibling of Parzival and Fleau de Baian, both ridden by Adelinde Cornelissen. His dam D’avance de Baian is an elitemare. She received an outstanding socre of 83,5 points in the performance-test. Other famous horses out of this famous, sporting damline are TC Athene (by United), PAVO-cup champion, multiple European and Dutch champion Young Riders and in the U-25 (ridden by Jeanine Nieuwenhuis), Genua TC, Bretagne, Armani, Grenoble.
Sire Ferdeaux was successfull at Prix St George-level. Lots of his progeny perform well at inspections thanks to their expression and light-footed gaits. Already three sons of Ferdeaux are approved by the KWPN. Bordeaux – bred out of the famous dressagedamline of De Baey – and damsire Ferro add the best European dressage-genes to the superb damline of Jerveaux.
